NCD IoT sensors send more than sensor data. For example, send a
unique serial number so that you can always identify a specific
sensor on the network. Also includes a node ID, which is a single
byte of data that you can use for anything like a building's floor
or to help identify the group a sensor belongs to. The data package
also includes the firmware version, battery level, and sensor type.
